So, these are the first pieces of jewelry I created, as an adult. I’m not counting the beads I strung and macrame pieces I did as a kid (hmmm, maybe I need to take up macrame again, but that’s another post).

Anyways, this is a simple piece, beaded around a small accent pendant. I used blue glass beads and yellow millefiori beads strung on a plain wire. Matching earrings, too. I still love the colors. The earrings are done on simple head pins. While it didn’t take a lot of effort or any special techniques, making it encouraged me to keep creating jewelry, and I’ve been doing it for years.
